Frequently Asked Questions
Q1 How many people can it hold?
The SUP Paddle Lounge has a 400 lb total weight capacity and a 6 ft × 6 ft mesh platform. Two people is the comfortable baseline, three feels great, and four to five is the upper limit depending on size and weight. Kids fit easily alongside adults.
Q2 What paddleboards are compatible?
Most standard paddleboards work. Here's what yours needs to meet:
- At least 10 feet long
- At least 4 inches thick
- No wider than 36 inches
Both boards don't need to be identical, but they should both meet those specs.
Q3 Is setup difficult?
We want to be upfront: the first time takes a little patience, especially getting comfortable the set up on the water. That's completely normal. By your third or fourth outing it becomes second nature — the kind of thing you stop thinking about and just do. The learning curve is short, and there's a setup video in your owner's manual QR code to help.

Who Wanted More From
Their Time On The Water
You're not just buying a product—you're getting something that started with real days on the water. SUP Paddle Lounge was created by a husband and wife who love paddleboarding and wanted their lake days to feel more like time spent together and less like paddling laps. So we built the thing we wished existed. What you're looking at is the result of years of kitchen-table design sessions, problem solving, and a small first production run we're incredibly proud of.
We made under 500 units in this first run—if you want one for this summer, this is the time.
